Dr Gordon Heslop
Gordon qualified as vet in England. After five years in James Herriot style practice, he migrated to Australia and settled in the Hills area. He believes that migration was one of the best decisions of his life.
Recognizing that it was not possible to stay on top of both large and small animal veterinary work, Gordon opted to concentrate on small animal medicine and surgery. He has a particular interest in surgery and preventative medicine. Away from the practice, Gordon is never happier than when at home with his wife Helen surrounded by their menagerie of dogs, cats, ponies, alpacas and ducks while he landscapes their garden. They are also avid travelers, preferring to immerse themselves in traditional accommodation and local culture, rather than retreat to the safety of a generic international hotel. Sailing – yes please, when I have the time!
