Sandra Maddren

Sandra is a qualified veterinary nurse and has been with us since 2002. She has a special interest in radiography and is known for her kind, gentle and generous nature, and the delicious cakes that she bakes for the staff!

Julie McGlinn

Julie has been vet nursing for 17 years since the beginning of her career in Port Macquarie. She and her partner and veterinarian Michael went to the UK for a two year working holiday and ended up staying for 8 years before returning to sunny Australia. Since returning, Julie has spent 6 years working for Glenhaven & Winston Hills Veterinary Hospitals. She and Michael have two gorgeous boys whose colourful artistic creations adorn the walls of the practice manager’s office. Julie enjoys the practical aspects of day to day hospital life, particularly the care of patients and assisting with surgery.

Cassandra Fake

Since starting with us, Cassie has become a qualified veterinary nurse and is now undertaking a university degree in Practice Management, working hard on assignments when not working at the surgeries. She has a special interest in assisting with surgery and hopes eventually to engage in practice management. Cassie is also a keen horse rider.

Tara Timewell

Tara is studying vet nursing and puts in long hours preparing assignments and studying for exams. Her particular areas of interest are surgery and pain management. Tara also has a weakness for very cute Jack Russell dogs!

Natasha Vasan

Natasha is a 4th year veterinary student at The University of Sydney. She works as a vet nurse for us on Saturdays and during uni holidays. Her interests include surgery and soon becoming a qualified vet!

Lisa Buisson

Lisa is from South Africa . She has been with us since 2005 and she and her husband enjoy being the parents of two adorable boys.

Thomas Woods

Tom is studying animal and veterinary bioscience at university with a view to becoming a vet. He is a keen sportsman, favouring rugby and cricket.

Chloe Groves

Chloe came to us as a work experience student in year 10. We were so impressed with her enthusiasm and competence that we offered her a job. Chloe is now studying for her HSC and hopes to become a vet. She is also a very successful athlete.

Kanchan Iyer

Kanchan is also a veterinary student at Sydney University and will graduate as a fully qualified vet in 2010. She works for us as a vet nurse on Saturdays and uni holidays.

Jessica Hollins

Jessica is a trainee veterinary nurse, currently undertaking her Certificate II in Animal Studies at TAFE.

Georgia Edwards

Georgia is also studying for her Certificate II in vet nursing at TAFE. In her spare time, Georgia is a landscape gardener.
